Open Label Media LLC (“Open Label Media,” “we,” “us”) runs openlabelmedia.com. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we never sell your information, and you can ask us anything about it.
What we collect
- Things you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply.
- Basic usage data. Our games use Google Analytics to count visits and see which games people play. Google Analytics collects things like pages viewed, approximate location (city or region), device and browser type, and how you arrived. It does not tell us who you are.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our host keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
- Fonts. Some of our games load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which can see your IP address.
We do not ask you to create an account. The quiz and games run in your browser and do not ask for your name or email.
Cookies
Google Analytics uses cookies to tell new visits from return visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site still works without them.

Many links on this site take you to services we use but do not run, each with its own privacy policy:
- Root to Rx newsletter (roottorx.com), hosted on beehiiv. Subscribing and sending a health claim happen there.
- Our shop (shop.roottorx.com), run on Fourthwall, which handles orders and payment.
- Open Label Learning and social media sites such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Threads, Pinterest, and Substack.
Once you leave openlabelmedia.com, that site’s policy applies.

How we use information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Children
Open Label Learning makes science books for kids ages 5 to 9. The books are meant to be picked out and used with a parent or teacher, and this website is written for those adults. We do not ask children for personal information, and we do not knowingly collect it from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
We keep emails as long as needed to answer them and keep a record of the conversation. Google Analytics data is kept on Google’s standard retention schedule.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will get back to you.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
